Our challenge was to launch a new game, Shopee Shake, in Singapore to boost app traffic and increase time spent in-app. We decided to align this launch with FIFA, which was highly anticipated by Singaporeans. To capture the idle time and attention of game watchers, we timed the Shopee Shake games to occur during the breaks between matches. Given the predominantly male audience, we crafted a cheeky marketing campaign to resonate with them and capture their attention. The launch was a success, resulting in the highest in-app traffic during the Shopee Shake game timings.
